it does exist, but w/ a 30 minute cooldown it's significantly neutered compared to other cooking fire replacements such as
Lil' Rags or even a cooking fire.

Sometimes I am just baffled by the choices Blizzard makes with these sorts of items.

This is an extremely rare drop. After killing what must be a lot of Kilnmasters (I have earned probably 300,000+ coins on Timeless Isle) I finally looted one.

Yes, it's simply a replacement for a fire, but with a 1/2 hour cooldown and a whole 4 spirit increase.

It also has no sale price and is thus not even vendor trash.

With stats like that they should modify the text to say "By the way, this takes up a bag slot."

I finally picked this up today. Took about 200 kills, and around a hour and a half of farming.

The best place to farm this item is in the Ordon Sanctuary, inside and out, all around. It has a very low chance of dropping, so expect to spend at least an hour+ of farming time.

I have been farming this for a few months now on & off & have just passed the 700 kills mark. RNG has definitely not been on my side.

EDIT: 722 was the final count before it dropped for me.

So an Eternal Kiln drops, and I think that looks rare.. and I come here to see what it is before rolling, and ofc another one drops... check screen shots ! :)

What I like to do with this, since I'm not a chef, is place this down when I'm fishing. Pick a nice cozy spot, sit down with your fishing pole, and summon this fire, it looks really neat. So cute too! Then I just need the umbrella item to have a whole little get up going at my fishing spot. XD

As of 6.0.2, this little bugger appears on the ground as a small, black and white checkered box. GG blizzard.

Besides the missing model, it still grants the spirit buff to nearby characters and allows cooking just as normal.

Interestingly enough, if destroyed, this item does not appear in "Item restoration" list (a feature by Blizzard to get back sold/deleted by accident items)
Really strange.. o_O And sad.. if You hoped to get it back for toy tab...

Started farming this today and it dropped after about my 30th kill. I killed plenty of these during MoP but this is my first time back since WoD. Probably got lucky but drop rate may be better now. Good luck!

So I farmed my Shaohao rep from friendly to Exalted today. I estimated about 1500-1800 kills on the yaungol mobs, around 700-1000 of these being Kilnmasters.

I saw this item drop 3 times during that grind. I was lucky and got one. Definitely still quite rare, but so glad to finally have it drop for me.

Considering how rare this is (0.4% drop rate!) I'm a little underwhelmed with it. I just got it, and I do like it... but for this level of rarity, it should make a sandwich or something.

If you are looking for other neat toys or pets to use for cooking you can also obtain these items:

Did they increase the drop rate on these? I've been hitting shaohao rep hard in the last 3 weeks, I've been doing mostly the upper Ordon sancuary, so maybe 300-400 kilnmasters downed, and I've seen 4 of these. weird

Just a small reminder: you can loot it on the yaungols that spawn when you use a Scroll of Challenge. So, if you're farming Shao Hao rep, it can be a good idea to go and kill the mobs there every once in a while.

This gives +1 versat, not +4, the tool tip was never changed in game, and in 8.1.5 it was nerfed from 2 to 1.

According to rarity the drop rate is 1 in 250. I'm already at 1200 kills on Eternal Kilnmasters, no drop. I'm starting to wonder if this is even dropping properly now. Will try some more but getting discouraged now.

UPDATE: Just one run after posting this, it finally dropped for me at 1219th attempt. So yeah, it does drop, just the drop rate is abysmal. Expect a good couple hundred kills at least.

This toy description is outdated and refers to now nonexistent secondary stat called “Spirit” that used to affect mana regeneration. Its effects are the same to those from normal bonfire, granting Cozy Fire buff.

Its a rare drop from Eternal Kilnmaster on Timeless Isle. Killing them grants reputation with Emperor Shaohao, so you are most likely to just drop this item while grinding your way towards Exalted.

Realized I was missing this item since Pandaria days, ran in and got it in 115 kills, worked perfectly during my timeless coins farm.

Going To Need A Bigger Bag, this was the hardest achievement in Mists of Pandaria.
I got this on the last day of the expansion: 14 December in 2011.
For this achievement I've spend a total of 4 mounths playing 4 hours a day.
This achievement is hardest cause do you need loot rare items from rare mobs.
Even the rares having 30 to 60 minutes spawn the problem here is cause those rares has low hp and die fast, making you lose then.

Another factor that make this achievement hard, is because the items needed has low drop chance.
For example the Reins of the Thundering Onyx Cloud Serpent, this mount has 0.9% drop chance, and was my last item for conclud the achievement.
I've spend a total of 400 trys to loot this mount.

My strategy for don't lose my mind while doing this insane grind was watching one piece while the Huolon doesnt spawn.
The addon called Rare Coordinator was great to track the rare spawn times, but I guess it's doesnt work on Dragonflight, cause you need other players to tracking with you.

Don't forget to use move speed items and teleport to reach rares faster.

Got it, got the 'Bigger Bag' achievement. Regained my sanity.
Eventually deleted it because it was useless and took up bad space.
Then years later, Blizzard made it a Toy.
Now I have to farm it again.

... dammit.

Pretty sure these drop more up in the Ordon Sanctuary. I killed over 800 Kilnmasters and Chanters down along the Blazing Way and never saw one drop. First Kilnmaster up in the Sanctuary dropped one. Good luck!

Dropped for me with 776 trys, from Kilnmasters in the challange. (PS: dropped 6 Ash-Covered Horn in this farm)
